Hello to all!

I would first like to say how honored I am to be the president of this amazing club. 51 years of history, and to be part of that is awesome.

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. I'm sure most of us are gearing up for the 2016 convention season.

This year I would like to reiterate the current SLA President Ron Porter's mantra of getting the younger generation involved. The Show Kids Club will be helping with that effort - so let’s keep that ball rolling. I would also like to concentrate on the scholarship program which is the main purpose of our club. These kids are our future and getting them involved in this club is important. So I ask everyone to not only sign up new young members, let’s get them involved. These youngsters have so much to offer, let’s give them a chance.

Obviously I'm asking everyone to sell as many raffle tickets as possible. SELL- SELL- SELL!

So in closing I would like to say I am very excited about my upcoming year. I look forward to seeing everyone at our first meeting of 2016.
