With a New Year unfolding, I am excited to begin this term as your President, and anticipate a GREAT year ahead!

First of all, I would to thank Jean Clair, for a wonderful Banquet, as always; she added a touch of class to our event. Also, much gratitude to her and the rest of her family for their tireless efforts. Not only was it one of the most enjoyable dinners we have had, it was also very profitable with Andy's superb auctioning skills. What a memorable night!

On that note, I would just like to add that I plan on "keeping a good thing going!" Our club has a unique membership, an organized group of caring, giving, hard working friends, that get along, and get things done! I am extremely proud to be a part of such a fine club. We will continue this year, to do our very best as an organization, to provide great support to our members, be goodwill ambassadors in the carnival industry, and to fund many scholarships to deserving students.

I would like to extend my sincere condolences to the families who have lost loved ones in the past season. As a club, we lost a long time dedicated and much loved member, who will be constantly missed, but never forgotten. By keeping our focus and strength in doing good, it is my hope and prayer, that their legacy will live on through efforts we put forth this New Year and beyond.

In closing, I would just like to say, I am grateful for the opportunity my peers have given me. I sincerely know that the members of our club have a vision for "the greater good" of every project we attempt to tackle, my hope is that will never be lost, because, that truly is what makes us work together so well, and what makes us so unique.
